Ending the season w/ a broken arm!

Well, Jamie finished up her volleyball season this past week. They had a great season and had a ton of fun! She learned a lot and realized how much she loves the game. She can't wait for next season. She doesn't get too much time off as she starts playing basketball next weekend in a fall league. She grew about 4 inches since last basketball season, so we're hoping for a good year.

Then there is Jared! His football team went undefeated this year. They had a great team and a great coach! They had their last game on Saturday and a few minutes into the second half, Jared, playing quarterback, fumbled a snap, another player stepped and then landed on Jared's left arm breaking his outside bone just above the wrist. The x-ray was pretty gross to look at! He was supposed to play in an All-star game at the dome next Friday, but will have stay on the sideline. He is pretty bummed about it, but shouldn't miss any basketball so that's good.

We thought we were doing so good with Jamie being the only one to ever break a bone or have stitches. Our streak is over. He isn't in a ton of pain so for that we are grateful.

Jon starts basketball in another week and then the craziness begins once again for the Highs! We love it!

Have a great week everyone!
