Update

Well, it has been a while since I have updated our blog, so here goes.

Jon is well into his basketball season. I think he was hoping to be doing better, but can't complain and looks to finish strong. He will head down to Ankeny, IA to compete in his Conference tourney. They should win it again this year, but I will keep you posted on that one.

Josh has been doing great in basketball. He is a consistant scorer for his team and they are 15-5. This past weekend we had the JV and Varsity teams to our house for a pregame brunch. 22 guys can really put it away, but it was fun to have them all here. Josh is looking forward to baseball and some warm weather. Spring can't come soon enough!

Jamie has done well with basketball too this year. She is seeing a lot of playing time on the Varsity team and they are 20-4. It has been a great season. She is also still playing volleyball with the JO program. It makes for some long weeks, but is something she loves doing.

Jared finished his school basketball before Christmas, but is still playing with his traveling team. They have lost some heartbreakers, but won quite a few tough games too. Almost every weekend is spent at a tournament somewhere around the cities and we wouldn't have it any other way. He has decided to play traveling baseball in the spring as well as basketball and will play golf for school. Oh, to have that much energy. He keeps us young, that's for sure!

I am still playing taxi driver when needed. Watching my kids play sports is the best thing ever. Life around here can get a little nuts, but I am so grateful for the great kids I have and count my blessings every day! My job at Crown is still very rewarding. I have bosses that I admire and respect which makes going to work every day a whole lot easier.

Dad & Mom turn 70!

Yesterday we went to Brainerd where the whole Geiszler clan (all 15 of us) met to celebrate Dad & Mom's 70th birthdays. Dad on the 4th and Mom on the 13th! It is always fun to get together and see each other, cousins catching up, and just spending time together. We had a great time!
