Done & Almost Done!

Another basketball tournament and season done and he is wiped! Jared had his last Magic basketball tourney this weekend and talk about frustrating. To make a long story short, it was the state tournament for the boys and for reasons that do not really make sense to me, Jared's team was forced to play up a level in the 5th grade tournament. It in no way was fair for the boys, but they did a great job and played their hardest. They had their worst finish and it was sad that that is how they had to end their season after having such a great one up til now. He now gets to put all of his energy into baseball and we don't have to run him all over the Twin Cities for practices and games. It was a good experience for him and he had a ton of fun!

Jon was gone all weekend as he was in Kansas City, MO for the NCCAA National Convention. He tells me every year that it is required for work, but I really think it is just an excuse for he and Pete Beers (his best friend since high school who also goes every year) to golf and goof off. Kristina - when is it our turn???? The kids and I find stuff to do that Jon doesn't enjoy anyway, so it is fun for all.

Josh got to go to Valleyfair on Friday with the whole 8th grade class. Their big ta-dah for finishing Middle School. It was a half way decent day weather wise and he came home tired after having a lot of fun.

The kids have just this next week of school left(til Thursday) and then it is time for them to drive me nuts whining about how bored they are. Oh joy!!! I am looking forward to starting my summer hours and will totally put up with them and will find many "enjoyable" things for them to occupy their time. : )

Have a great week everyone!
