The last buzzer buzzed and the High household has finished yet another basketball season. All are sad, but at the same time, ready to move outdoors to the baseball fields.
Jon traveled to Springfield, MO for Nationals. His team lost both games, but it was a great experience for the guys. He even took Josh with him so he could hang out with his players. I think the fact that Jon wanted Josh around those guys speaks volumes about his players and the young men that they are.
Jared played in his State tournament last weekend. They had a great first day winning both of their games. The video clip below is of Jared and his amazing and oh-so-lucky shot that he hit to end the first half of a close game that they ended up winning. (He is #5 with the ball, shot, got his own rebound and shot again!) The second day they didn't fare so well, but all in all it was a good season for them.
Baseball practice has begun for Josh at school and Jared has had his tryouts for his traveling program. Jamie is not going out for softball this year due to the fact she is doing her Driver's Training class. Yep, she will be driving next month!!!!!
The kids are on Spring Break this next week. Jamie is going with a friend to Washington which means I will not have my female support system for a whole 9 days! I will muddle through, but am going to miss her terribly.
