Boring?? Never!

Well, it has been very busy at our household the last few weeks! Jamie has had a basketball tournament the last 4 weekends. They have experienced a new coach that is extremely intense (and I have to say, that is an under-statement), but they have learned a ton and it is fun to watch him get Jamie psyched during a game. She had fun, but is ready for a break. Jared is headlong into baseball with a basketball tournament thrown in every so often to make life a little crazy. He is doing great with both and we enjoy watching him learn constantly. Josh has been running from one ball field to the next and then a gymnasium for good measure. He is trying to manage 3 teams right now: traveling baseball, school baseball and spring basketball (with his dad). So far we haven't had any major meltdowns, but at this rate, one can't be too far away. About a week ago, Josh and his basketball teammates shaved their heads in support of a fellow teammate that was diagnosed with leukemia. Blair is halfway through chemo and lost his hair. The guys went over to his house one afternoon and surprised him by all shaving their heads. I was pleasantly surprised at how high school freshmen boys can be so sensitive. Very nice to see. (This picture was taken before the shaving, but . . .)

This week is looking a little nuts. On the schedule for us is: 11 baseball games, 4 basketball games, 3 softball games, 1 spring reception, 1 award ceremony and 1 college graduation. If anyone would like to see us this week, look for us at our new home: the baseball complex of Buffalo.

Have a great week everyone!
